Melora is a local music player. Melora does not provide, host, sell, stream, or distribute music content. The app is designed to play and organize compatible audio files already stored on your device.

Melora is designed primarily to operate using music and audio files stored locally on your device.

Audio Files

With your permission, Melora may access compatible audio files stored on your device so that the app can identify, display, organize, and play your local music.

Depending on your Android version, the operating system may request permission for Melora to access music and audio files.

This access is used only to provide Melora's core music player functionality.

Melora does not upload your personal audio files to our servers for music playback.

Melora does not use this permission to access unrelated documents, photos, videos, contacts, messages, or other files that are not required for its music player functionality.

5. Local Storage

Melora may store certain information locally on your device, including:

  • Favorites
  • User-created playlists
  • Music library indexes or cached metadata

Local application data may be removed when you clear Melora's app data or uninstall the application, subject to your device's operating system behavior.

Your personal music collection remains under your control.

Melora does not claim ownership of music, recordings, artwork, playlists, or other media stored on your device.

Melora does not provide users with copyrighted music resources and does not provide tools for downloading copyrighted music from third-party streaming platforms or websites.

7. Third-Party Services

Certain versions of Melora may use third-party technology providers to support app operation, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or other technical functionality.

Where third-party services are integrated, they may process limited device or usage information according to their own privacy policies and the permissions available to the app.

We require third-party integrations used by Melora to be implemented only for legitimate app-related purposes.

8. Advertising

Melora may display advertisements in certain versions of the application.

Melora currently does not require users to create a Melora account for local music playback.
